 Reports of socialite Kim Kardashian's wedding with singer and fiance Kanye West are false, a source close to the family has told People.com. Kim and Kanye reportedly got married in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles over the weekend but the source rubbished the story saying that Kim is still a bride-to-be.

Kim and Kanye are expected to get married May 24 during a lavish celebration at France's opulent Chateau Louis XIV. Their reps are yet to comment the rumours.

Four Men Drown Respectively Inside Well

It has been a sad moment for some residents of Ogoja in Cross River state when three of their neighbours and landlord drowned respectively in a well located inside their compound as they tried to retrieve a bucket which fell into the well. Mama peace made this statement during a meeting with wives of government functionaries, female Senators and Commissioners.
“I do not mind being shot as long as they return our girls to us safely, we are tired of the kidnapping,” she said.

Finally, a photo of one of the abducted girls has been released. Pictured above is 16 year old Comfort Bulus and according to her uncle Yahi Bwata, in a chat with 99.3 Nigeria Info radio talk show host 4lah, Comfort was in school writing her WAEC exams when she was abducted.

Yahi gave a first hand account of what really happened at Chibok the day the school was attacked and the girls abducted. Plus he described the sorrowful, heartbreaking mood in Chibok right now ever since this abduction of the young schoolgirls aged between 16 to 18.

Nanny in Dubai kills baby after she was denied leave

A 29-year-old Indian nanny has been accused of premeditated murder, a charge she denied in the Court of First Instance. The nanny, who was seen crying in court at the sight of the baby’s parents, claimed she had just put the baby to bed. “How would I do such a thing when I am a mother myself?”
The nanny is believed to have killed the baby by taking advantage of the fact that the family was away. According to prosecution records, the nanny planned the crime and waited for her employer to go to work in the morning. She then brought a scarf which she tied around the baby’s neck and gagged her with her hand.

Twitter introduces “Mute” Feature for Irritating Tweets

There’s a new feature, the social media site is trying out and we are sure a lot of you may like it.
Do you follow someone who constantly chats about her baby, or a friend who can’t stop tweeting about living life large? Well you can stop it…for a while.
Twitter is testing a feature in its mobile apps that allows users to mute accounts that are becoming irritating. Unlike the block feature which helps to stop interactions with users completely, muting is temporary.
It just means you can block out people for sometime. The new feature has come at a time when Twitter aims to increase the amount of time existing users spend on the service.

Scary: US Warns, Boko Haram May Attack Sheraton Hotel In Lagos

(AFP) – US diplomats in Nigeria on Friday claimed that “groups associated with terrorism” could be planning to attack a hotel in the financial capital, Lagos, in a travel note to citizens warning of security risks.

“As of late April, groups associated with terrorism allegedly planned to mount an unspecified attack against the Sheraton Hotel in Nigeria, near the city of Lagos,” the US Consulate General in Lagos said in an emailed advisory.
