Mourinho: If we don’t win we don’t lose

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, has once again reinforced his winning mentality, stating that his players already know they cannot afford to lose.
The former Real Madrid boss started without any recognised striker, as his team failed to score against Manchester United, although the game ended 0-0.
He said: “We did enough to be better than the opponent. We controlled the game for most of the time. We did not have real problems. We made simple mistakes. In terms of attack we did not give what we should.
“We play to win but if we don’t win we don’t lose and I think the players understand this completely. Both teams gave everything and I think towards the end my players went for the defensive position and to get the point.”

When asked whether he felt his tactics worked, he replied: “Yes because playing with Fernando Torres or Andre Schurrle didn’t change a lot.
“We didn’t create more, not because of the system but because we lost so many easy passes. I felt United also lost five or six easy balls. It was a difficult match for both of us.
“We both wanted to win and both did not want to lose. It was a really big, big match but without goals. But we have six points from our matches at home. Some of our opponents have lost points already, so after this difficult start we are fine.”

Me and my younger brother have always been close, he’s 18, I’m 20 and recently we’ve seen our relationship blossom. 
I wish I were trolling, that what I’m about to tell you is a lie – but it’s not, please don’t judge me.
It’s been this way for a month now, we’d always been typically close siblings but ever since he broke up with his girlfriend, I would comfort him and say “it’s alright, you’ll find someone perfect someday.”

It’s been almost three days since we made love, we’ve been kissing and doing other things whenever we can and I can honestly say that we are in love.

We’ve been planning our future together, and I’m beginning to think I made a HUGE mistake – I love him, but I’m not sure if it’s like that.
What should I do? I don’t condone what I did at all, please don’t mock me, he came on to me and I was silly enough to get blown away by it all.

Angelo Speaks: My Affair With Beverly Osu In The Bathroom

First things first, the South African housemate – Angelo has denied his widely publicized “girlfriend”, saying: “I didn’t have a girlfriend before I got into the house, but I had someone I told to wait for me so that we would see what would happen when I get out of the house. I will be focused on what I want to do as a person and then focus on my relationship with Bev and see where we will take it to,”
Angelo was also asked why he had s*x with Beverly openly in the bath, and this is what he had to say:
“We didn’t have s*x. We talked about it. There were some things I said I wasn’t going to do in the house. I respect my mum so much. Before I got into the house, there were things I told my mummy I wasn’t going to do. I wasn’t b*tt unclad. It looked as if we were having s*x in that bathtub [but] we were just kissing. I couldn’t take advantage of Beverly because I respect her so much.”

Angelo is backing up the statement made by Beverly in the BB house when she insinuated that they hadn’t had s*x yet.

Angelo also said he intends to take his relationship with Beverly to the next level once she is done with BBA.
“We will try and work things out and see how we can make our relationship work. At the same time, I hope the people of Nigeria don’t hate Bev. I would love to come to Nigeria and experience Nigerian culture and take lots of pepper,” Angelo added.

ASUU rejects FG offers; says strike must continue

Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, yesterday, rejected. the N130 billion the Federal Government disbursed into the university system, as part of efforts to persuade striking lecturers to call off the strike which began on July 2.
In a letter written to Head of National Economic Empowerment Development Strategy, NEEDs Assessment, and Benue State Governor, Gabriel Suswan, by President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Isa Fagge. The union insisted that based on the 2009 ASUU/FGN agreement and the January 2012 Memoranda of Understanding, MoU, signed by both parties, what was due for 2012 and 2013 was N500 billion, not N100 billion.
The letter read: “We observe that the Committee is so far mentioning only N100 billion. If the implementation is to be related to the funding requirements in the 2009 ASUU/FGN agreement and the Jan 2012 MoU, what is due for 2012 and 2013 is N500 billion not N100 billion. Only the provision of this sum will meet the immediate needs of the universities.
“Our Union is very apprehensive of the manner in which the sources of the initial N100 billion to be used for the stimulation of the process are shrouded in secrecy. We believe that monies that already belong to the university system should not be blocked and recycled.
“This will not only be counterproductive but will brew even deeper crises in the system. ASUU will not accept this.
“We are also concerned that a clear procedure or process for assessing the funds by the universities is yet to be defined. This concern is even more germane, given the statement of the Chairman of the Committee (during the last meeting on Monday, August 19, 2013) that the committee is taking some documents to the Due Process Office.
“We hasten to add that while due process must be followed, it is the sole responsibility of benefitting universities to respect all the provisions of the Procurement Act. The meaning of your Committee going to the Due Process Office is that it is the one that will be responsible for awarding contracts.

“We want to make it clear that this will never be acceptable to our union. We believe that monies meant to fund projects in universities should be sent to the universities, just as it is the practice with TETFund.”
The union condemned allocation of construction of 2,500 bed space hostel for N1billion, instead of 3,000 bed space for N1.2 billion.
“We are worried that instead of allocating N1.2 billion each to construct 3,000 bed space hostels to the 10 Category 1 universities, N1.0 billion for 2,500 bed space hostel to the 16 Category 2 universities, N500 million to construct 1,250 bed space hostels in the 12 Category 3 universities and N250 million each to construct 625 bed space hostels in the 13 Category 4 universities, the secretariat has changed that to constructing 1,400 bed space hostels in 25 universities at the cost of N2 billion each. We see no rationale in this.
“Expending N50 billion to construct 35,000 bed space hostels across 25 universities will be ridiculously scandalous since the same amount can be used to construct 125,000 bed space hostels across 51 universities. The standard cost of building a bed space ranges from N200,000.00 to a maximum of N400,000.00.
“This is even more worrisome, given the tangential suggestions made by the chairman that only monies for refurbishment will be sent to universities, while the rest will be handled centrally,” the union said.
The union also condemned the exclusion of 22 universities from the allocation for refurbishment of laboratories and libraries and three universities from the allocation for refurbishment of lecture theatres and lecture rooms.
According to ASUU, 24 universities are denied allocation for construction of libraries and laboratories, while two are denied allocation for construction of new lecture theatres and lecture rooms. 26 universities are denied allocation for construction of hostel.

SSS grills teenage stowaway’s mum

The mother of the 13-year-old stowaway, Ricky Daniel Ohikhena, who on Friday hid in the tyre compartment of an Arik plane on a flight from Benin to Lagos, was on Monday quizzed for hours by a combined team of security operatives from the Department of State Security Service and aviation security.
The mother, Evelyn, who confirmed that she was quizzed by the SSS operatives, said her son was a nice boy who never displayed any tendency for such a dangerous venture.
An embattled Evelyn said Daniel was a nice boy who did not mingle with bad friends.
She said, “My son answers Daniel in school and Ricky at home. I went to my elder sister’s place who put to bed and when I got home the next morning (Saturday), I couldn’t find him. My daughter told me that they quarrelled in the night because he woke at midnight to watch movies and she told him to stop watching movie in the night and she said he eventually slept in the parlour while she said she went back to sleep in the room.

“One of his younger brothers said he saw him remove all his school books from his bag; so I asked my neighbours whether any of them saw him and they told me that at around 5 to 6 am, they heard sounds that somebody was opening the gate but never thought it was my son. He doesn’t go out. What I know is that he is always watching films in the house but he doesn’t have friends.
“I went to Oba Market police station, they referred me to Evbuotubu police station, when I got there they said they will declare him missing after 24 hours and that I should come back the next day.”
Speaking on the type of person her son is, Evelyn said, “He is always at home, I have never seen anybody come to look for him and he doesn’t have friends. I am begging the government to help me, because I have never been to the airport before, I have been to Lagos before so they should help me. I don’t know how he manage to get there but I just thank God that he is alive.

SHOCKING PHOTOS: Female Journalist Takes Off Her Clothes While Interviewing Local Government Leader

A Canadian radio host and newspaper columnist took off her top during an interview with her local mayor this week and continued asking him questions bare-chested.
Lori Welbourne, who hosts the radio show On The Rocks and writes a column for the Province newspaper, was talking to Walter Gray, mayor of Kelowna in British Columbia, about whether it was legal in the town for women to bare their br**sts in public.
‘What if I went walking down the street unclad?’ she asked in the recorded interview.
But before Gray could answer her question, Welbourne handed him her microphone and undid the strap on her dress, exposing her br**sts.
‘What are you doing,’ he asked, to which she replied, ‘it’s really hot in here.’
After regaining his composure, Gray explained that while someone may be tempted to call the police there is little authorities could do because it is in fact entirely legal for a woman to be unclad anywhere a man can be.
Welbourne’s stunt was in anticipation of Sunday’s Go unclad Day.

Public uncladness is not illegal anywhere in Canada unless it’s deemed to be indecent. It is also legal for women in a range of American states though plenty still outlaw.

‘So I can go unclad here in Kelowna?’ Welbourne went on.

‘Well, evidently,’ Gray said. ‘I’m not suggesting you should do that but I don’t think you’d be committing any crime or breaking any bylaw.’
Groups of women turned out shirtless in cities including New York on August 25 to celebrate a women’s right to bare her br**sts in public. The annual event was started in 2007.
Welbourne went on to ask the mayor whether he was aware we are all unclad under our clothes and whether he had any piercing and he replied in good humor

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, which aired live
on Sunday night from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for
the first time ever, had one thing on its mind:
performance, performance, performance. ”NSync
reunited. Lady Gaga re-emerged. And Katy Perry
delivered a knockout punch. In fact, there were more
performances than awards given out (less than 10
awards were handed out during the two-and-a-half
hour show.)

For the awards that were given out, it was a mixed
bag of winners, with no single artist dominating.
However, Justin Timberlake took home the night’s
two biggest awards, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
walked away with two as well.
Lady Gaga opened the show with new single
“Applause,” her first major performance since
canceling the tail-end of her Born This Way tour and
undergoing hip surgery in February. Keeping in line
with her latest performance art-persona, she
seamlessly changed in and out of elaborate costumes
and wigs several times throughout the song – from
an all-white Flying Nun-type costume to a black-
sequined leotard to a string bikini made out of beach
shells – while seemingly lip-syncing her way through
the song.
But the night belonged to Justin Timberlake, who was
presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard
award, performing for a solid 15 minutes to celebrate
the win, including a brief reunion with his former
group ‘NSync. He also walked away with the biggest
award of the night, Video of the Year, for “Mirrors.”
It was Timberlake’s first performance at the VMAs in
six years, and the first time he’s performed with
‘NSync since 2003. The reunion was a mere 90
seconds, with the group singing and dancing to two
of its biggest hits: “Bye Bye Bye” and “Girlfriend.”
The rest of the time Timberlake performed solo,
singing a medley of his hits, from “Like I Love You”
and “Cry Me a River” to “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors.” In
his acceptance speech, he made a point to say that
he wanted to “share the award” with his former
bandmates, jokingly adding, “We can keep it at my
house.”
The most moving performance of the night, however,
came from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (featuring
Mary Lambert and joined onstage by Jennifer
Hudson), who sang “Same Love” soon after winner
the award for Best Video With a Social Message for
its pro-gay marriage stance. During the acceptance
speech, Macklemore said, “To watch this song spread
across the world is a testament to what is happening
right now in America on the forefront of equality. Gay
rights are human rights; there is no separation.” The
duo also won Best Hip-Hop Video for “Can’t Hold Us,”
featuring Ray Dalton.
But not all of the night’s performances were winners.
Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke did a haphazard (and
at times cringe-worthy) mash-up of “We Can’t Stop”
and “Blurred Lines” that featured giant dancing
teddy bears and Cyrus twerking and groping Thicke.
And Kanye West gave a dark performance of “Blood
on the Leaves” where he mostly appeared in
silhouette against a backdrop of trees and was
heavily bleeped for offensive language. Both Cyrus
and Thicke walked away empty-handed, despite
being nominated in three categories each and having
some of the biggest hits of the summer. West wasn’t
nominated at all.
The Song of the Summer award went to One
Direction for “Best Song Ever,” which beat out both
Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and
Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift won Best Female Video for “I
Knew You Were Trouble.” During her speech, she
alluded to her short-lived fling with One Direction’s
Harry Styles, saying, “I want to thank the person who
inspired this song – who knows exactly who he is –
’cause now I got one of these,” as the camera
awkwardly cut to Styles.
The show ended with Katy Perry doing a fun, boxing-
themed take on her latest hit single “Roar.”

If there is one thing that men truly hate about women, its that many of them become emotional about absolutely everything. Be it a sappy movie, a broken nail, or the fact that they can’t find their car keys, women go crazy over the little stuff often. The photos you see above were posted online by friends of Angelo's girlfriend (before he entered BBA) Candice Arends, who were obviously angered by his public display of affection with Bev during the BBA finale. They made it seem like Candice was at the after party with Angelo and already got an engagement ring from him. But the reality is, the ring Candice is flaunting above is a promise ring Angelo gave her when they were dating before BBA. Angelo has since said his relationship with Candice wasn't serious and is happy with Bev.

Genevieve Nnaji denies granting Yes! Magazine interview

Star actress Genevieve Nnaji is on the cover of this week's Yes! Magazine (above left) where she purportedly granted an exclusive interview to the magazine publisher, Azuh Arinze, talking about her career, love life and wishes for the future.

A few minutes after I culled excerpts from the one-page interview, Genevieve Nnaji took to twitter to deny granting it. She said the interview is either false or as old as her career.

Boy found under Arik plane tyre hole thought he was going to the US

The 14 year old boy who beat airline and airport security at Benin airport on Saturday August 24th and flew in the tyre hole of a Lagos-bound Arik plane actually thought he was on his way to the US.

Sources at Benin Airport said Daniel Ikehina ran away from home because he was being maltreated and was trying to escape from his parents when he joined the Arik flight. Unfortunately for him the plane wasn't flying to the US, it was flying to Lagos where the stowaway was immediately arrested as he alighted from the wheel well of the aircraft. Daniel is presently in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) who are trying to unravel how he managed to pull off such a stunt.

2 British Nigerian women assaulted & detained in China for 2 months

Two British Nigerian woman have been detained in China for more than two months after their dream holiday turned to nightmare.

Modupe Idowu, 59, and her friend Esther Jubril Badmos, 48, were arrested after becoming embroiled in a dispute at a shoe shop in the city of Guangzhou.

They were locked up in 'hell-like' conditions at a detention centre for 38 days and although they have now been released, the two women remain trapped in the country as their visas have expired and authorities refuse to issue them new ones.

“Moyes unsettled Rooney, not me” – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not to blame for Wayne Rooney’s desire to leave Manchester United.
Instead, the Chelsea boss blamed his United counterpart David Moyes, stating that his comments have unsettled the striker and that fans at Old Trafford would be wrong to turn on him on Monday night.
“Why? They are against me? But I didn’t say to Rooney you will be a second choice for me. And they are against me?” Mourinho said.

“We are trying to get a player that a manager told ‘You will be a second option for him. We are not going for Van Persie.’
“The fans don’t have to be against me. If I say Ramires is a second option for me and he plays when Lampard is tired or injured – if someone comes here to get Ramires – nobody is upset.”
Moyes had said earlier this summer that, “I think he’s got a major role to play because we need to try and score as many goals as we possibly can. I think Wayne can play up-top, he can play dropped in.
“Overall my thought on Wayne is he’ll be key. If for any reason we had an injury to Robin we are going to need him.
“I want to be able to play the two of them. I want to be able to use Danny Welbeck and Chicarito as well.”

Stowaway kid: Controversy as FAAN faults Arik’s statement; FG to probe incident

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has punctured Arik Airline’s account of how a teenager managed to hide inside the undercarriage of its aircraft at the weekend.
The controversy is not unexpected as there are fears that the federal government may probe aviation authorities as well as the airline over the incident that has been described as a national embarrassment.
On Saturday, a boy was discovered in the wheel of an Arik Air flight at the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos. The flight originated from Benin Airport in Edo State.
Arik, the biggest domestic Nigerian airline, had blamed the breach on FAAN.
Its managing director, Chris Ndulue, while expressing shock, described the incident as a security breach, “We are worried by the incessant security lapses at our airports. We are appealing to FAAN to immediately address the problem”.
In his explanation, Arik’s Communication Manager, Adebanji Ola, said the teenager sneaked into the aircraft main wheel of Flight W3 544, departing Benin-City airport for Lagos at 9.00am.

“The pilot of the aircraft notified the control tower when he noticed the presence of a strange boy in the bush about 200 – 300 meters at the end of runway 23,” he said.
“The control tower informed the Captain that they were sending security men to the place to arrest the boy, adding that the pilot was told he had been cleared for take-off as the situation was under control.
“As the captain was making his final turn, preparatory for take-off, a cabin crew called his attention to the information by some of the passengers that they saw a boy running towards the airplane.
He added that “The First Officer confirmed that they had observed it earlier and alerted the control tower which responded that they have sent the patrol team to arrest the boy.
“The Captain again reported to the control tower and was informed that the situation was under control and that he had been cleared for take-off.”
But the General Manager, Corporate Communications of FAAN, Yakubu Dati, criticised the airline for being economical with the truth.
Dati said in the statement that “The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria read with great dismay the statement released by Arik Airlines about the stowaway found on board Arik’s flight 544 from Benin to Lagos on Saturday 24 August, 2013, in which FAAN was unfairly indicted while the airline took no responsibility whatsoever for such a serious security breach.

Did I hear someone say duoooor? I almost buried my head under my pillow when Nigerian representatives at the just concluded Big Brother Africa tagged ‘The Chase’, Melvin and controversial Beverly Osu were evicted from the competition at the eleventh hour and the denied the money and fame they fought to grab. Tongue out!
For Melvin, he’s fought a good fight. Thank you for being a worthy ambassador in far away South Africa. I’m proud of you.
Honestly, I am not a fan of that particular reality (immorality?) show; in fact, since its conception, I have never liked it. I have my extreme reservation about the show. The immoral activities in The House during the competition made me to write an article entitled BBA: Platform for free public fornication a few months back.
Many people had faulted my conclusion on the competition, but I was not moved because truth, they say is always bitter. Like me or hate me, I will always stand for the truth.
In the said article, I agreed that the fact that, the ‘Show of Shame’ no doubt, preaches unity amongst African countries, as it unites people from different countries and culture and promotes the exchange of ideas. I also cleared that it promotes inter-personal relationship amongst the contestants.
However, some activities in the house made me to wonder on what the reality show really stands for.
From a more critical perspective, the BBA has really gotten into the heads of our youth. All the juicy details of what happens in the house especially in the wee hours were never missed by many young boys and girls. They can correctly tell you whose boobs were grabbed, which pair stole some kissing moments, as well as the various colours of underwears displayed in the last 24 hours and who had the “biggest” JT bulge in the house.
Before the winner emerged Sunday night, my friends on Blackberry and other social network sites had bombarded me with Broadcasts and messages campaigning for Beverly Osu to go for the money. Their reason? She was real, she didn’t pretend like others. Did I hear them say REAL? So savouring the Turgid Pole of a stranger on a satellite television is being real? No, I disagree.
I learnt that despite all the criticisms, Beverly has been getting from Nigerians following her sexual escapades with house mate, Angelo, her mum is super proud of her daughter and was planning a big welcome party for her; what a dance of shame!

The question is, will the heroic party for her ‘proud daughter’ still hold since Namibian Dillish Matthews has gone with the $300, 000 star prize? Mama Beverly needs to answer this one.
When I later went back to watch the 3 minutes 17 seconds video footage of her live ‘sex’ with Angelo in the bathtub, I was moved to tears.
So this Angelo guy come ‘bang’ our lady for free? God dey sha!
Does that mean that Nigerians are foremost in such acts? I mean we have scored high in sex and sex related issues. Yet back at home, we pretend a lot about such acts. On this global TV, we didn’t fail to show the world the stuff we are made of in matters of ‘bedmatics’ and the tricks surrounding it.
So she couldn’t keep her pants on for the sake of dignity? She has portrayed the image of Nigerian girls as being wayward. What if her kids and their friends in the future surf the Internet and find these pictures and video of hers? There is no end to the cries, criticisms and concerns trailing her recent faux pas. “Allowing a guy to shag you openly; this is annoying. What a shame, she was even the one on top. What desperation!,” a colleague of mine fumed when the issue of the sex tape was mentioned in the office. There is no doubt about it: It was a big fuck-up!
It is good to know that Nigeria had won in three consecutive episodes from- Chuwang Pam Kelvin in 2009, to Uti Nwachuckwu in 2010 and to ‘breastfull’ Karen Igho in 2011. However, I see those three straight wins in two different perspectives. First, it is good to know that we have the largest market and also that we didn’t fail our flag bearers. By our incredible votes, we did boost their winning chances.
This time around, it was a case of much pain, no game for our own Beverly.
I think the Big Brother noise is over; I can now subscribe my DSTV for my little boy, Michael to enjoy his Cartoon Network.
Like my colleague, Chichi would say, “BBA is gradually becoming a continental show of shame. It is high time we pulled the plug on this modern day show of sleaze masked as home entertainment.”
As I end this article with anger burning in my heart like the Babylonian furnace, I leave you with the word from the Good Book-the bible, “Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
But don’t forget, the Bigger Brother up there is watching.

Power sharing: Jonathan is an enemy of Yoruba, we will not support him in 2015 – Group

National Coordinator of Yoruba Youth Alliance (YYA), Jackson Ojo, has advised President Gooluck Jonathan not to expect votes from Nigeria’s southwestern region in 2015.
Addressing newsmen in Osogbo, Ojo described President Jonathan as number one enemy of the Yoruba, who does not have the interest of the region at heart.
According to him, those referring to themselves as Yoruba leaders and also planning to deliver Southwest to the President in 2015 will fail.
He was reacting to assurance given to President Jonathan by Olabode Goerge, Iyiola Omisore, Ebenezer Babatope, Hossia Agboola, Professor Tunde Adeniran, Kayode Adetokunbo, Wole Oyelese, Lekan Balogun, Musiliu Obanikoro, when they visited him in Abuja.

According to him, “the Yoruba people are worse hit in the power sharing and political office holders under the present administration. No Yorubaman can be found in the list of 20 top political office in the country.
“We’ve not had it so bad as it is being experienced under the present administration of Jonathan. Even during the worst and satanic government of the late General, Sanni Abacah, some Yoruba participated and there were adequate representation. It was the same story under General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
“Despite the fact that Yoruba did not vote for Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in his first term, Yoruba was still appointed to hold some political positions, even under late Musa Yar’Adua, we were still adequately recognized, but now it is not so again.
“The election that brought President Jonathan to power in 2011 saw the Yorubas voting for him massively even not the way we voted our own Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Despite that fact, the Yorubas are nowhere to be found in Jonathan’s government. The Yorubas are now tenant because we are not partaker in the present government,” he said.

COZA church members ask Pastor Biodun to come clean on adultery allegations

As the cloud of adultery mess hovers around the Ministry of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Common Wealth Of Zion Assembly, COZA, concerned members of the church have expressed disappointment that the ‘Apostle’ has not clinically come out to either accept or deny the allegation levelled against him.
Fatoyinbo has been in the news for allegedly sleeping with one of his church members who gave her name as Ese Walter.
The wind blew and the chicken romp was exposed over the weekend when the lady in a tell-it-all article exposed her escapade with the man of God.
Ese in the controversial article entitled, “My affair with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA,” explained how she savoured the ‘John Thomas’ of the preacher for years before things fell apart between them.

However, the pastor has neither come out to refute or accept the allegation but claimed that when he asked God, God told him to keep quiet, a statement, which his teeming members have described as ‘immaterial.’
“Now read my lips, I know there are people here that are not part of our church, read my lips, we are going to speak but we are consulting to come out with a robust reply. Before then, I will not say anything, but I owe it to you as members that have made me proud and have made God proud,” he told his congregation during the Sunday Service.
Speaking with DailyPost, a member of the church who gave his name as Israel (surname withheld) said the pastor should stop beating about the bush but come out to tell his members the whole truth.

“God can’t ask you to keep quiet in this matter because his name is at stake too. The church of God is being accused here and same God is telling him to keep quiet? That is immaterial, I can’t accept that. I came to church this morning to hear from him only for him to spoil my day with such statement.”
Asked if he would still continue to worship with the church, the fair completion man said, “I’m not worshiping the man of God, my aim is to make heaven at last, that won’t stop me from going to the church but we should not lie against God.” He added.
Another lady who gave her name as Tees, said, “The truth is that members of the church will support their pastor. The girl will be at the receiving end even if she is telling the truth. That’s Africa for you. If it were Yankee, They would investigate this man. Now the girl must feel like its a million people against one person. I believe her though, but I also believe she feels scorned. That is the root of all this revelation. Hell hath no fury like a “woman scorned”
For Simzie, the man of God is yet to clear the air on the matter.
According to her, “As far as I am concerned, you have not said anything to refute the allegation made against you, or maybe I do not understand your language. Just make it simple by saying NO, this never happened or better still if you are too proud or ashamed to confess to your subjects or congregation, then I suggest you go to a higher man of God and help yourself. One thing I am sure of is that you need help. Why do I believe Ese? I went through something similar in the hands of a man of God who claimed that he was visited by Jesus Christ in his home. Ladies, we really have to be careful. There is so much deception going on now in the world,” he warned.
Another angry member of the ministry who would not want his name mentioned said he would be disappointed if the pastor is found guilty of the allegation.
According to him, “There’s no smoke without fire, a lady would not just wake up and start writing what she doesn’t know. I just pray he’s impeccable because this is big shame to the body of Christ,” she said.
