According to tweet Details, a Medview aircraft crash landed at the Murtala Mohammed 2 airport today and there are reports that former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel was on board. The Medview plane was headed for Abuja but had to make an emergency landing few minutes after takeoff due to engine issues. A source says the engine caught fire.
'May Day' was declared before emergency landing and Lagos Airport runway 18L is temporarily closed. Now waiting for official info from NCAA and FAAN. Meanwhile, Medview has reacted to the mishap as well. See tweets below
