Rihanna has agreed to settle a multi-million dollar lawsuit against her ex-accountants.
The Barbados-born pop star initially filed the lawsuit back in 2012 against accounting firm Berdon and her former employees Micheal Mitnick and Peter Gounis, claiming that they caused her significant financial losses stemming from high commissions and a failure to investigate unpaid royalties.
The singer also accused her former accountants of mismanaging her foreign and domestic taxes.
Rihanna's original claim stated that Berdon took advantage of the singer’s lack of financial knowledge and in turn collected millions of dollars in commissions.
New York’s U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel did not discuss the terms of the settlement during a hearing on Thursday.
