Below is the official press release from EFCC:

A suspected internet fraudster, Dumi Osayemi, a.k.a Larry, is currently ruing his attempt to compromise operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The 22-year-old, who was arrested following a tip-off about his suspicious flamboyant lifestyle, allegedly offered a N6, 900,000.00(Six Million Nine Hundred Thousand Naira) bribe to EFCC operatives so that he could be let off the hook.

At the time of his arrest, the following items were recovered from him: a 2011 C350 Mercedes Benz car and a Toyota Venza. The suspect is also said to own a tastefully furnished four-bedroom bungalow.

31 states declared so far. APC has 13,760,747 votes while PDP has 10,866,249 votes. Meaning that APC is ahead of PDP with 2,894,498 votes.

APC Posting Fake Results- PDP Alerts...Says INEC Still Collating Authentic Figures

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has charged Nigerians to totally disregard misleading figures being circulated by the APC in the social media as results of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some polling booths.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement on Sunday said the figures were “fake and do not represented the true results which are currently being collated by INEC, the only body authorized to release and announce results”.

The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Alhaji Muhammad Hurdi (pictured middle above), the Katsina State commissioner of police. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Aminu Sadiq announced the demise of Hurdi in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Katsina.

Sadiq said that Hurdi died on March 27, after a protracted illness. The late commissioner joined the service in 1988 as ASP cadet officer and rose through the ranks to the rank of a commissioner.

The PPRO said that Hurdi would be remembered as a patriotic and dedicated officer who gave his best in the service of his fatherland. The Deputy Commissioner of police, Mr Bala Zama Senche, prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest and gave the family fortitude to bear the lost. (NAN).

The website of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has just been hacked. The hackers introduced themselves as “StruCk By Nigerian Cyber Army | TeaM NCA”
The statement on the website reads:

“Sorry xD Your Site has been STAMPED by TeaM Nigerian Cyber Army FEEL SOME SHAME ADMIN!!”
“Security is just an illusion, Remember US :D GREETINGS OF PEACE TO CITIZEN OF NIGERIA FROM TEAM NCA NIGERIANS No Body Can Give You Freedom No Body Can Give You Equality Or Justice If You Are A Man/Woman YOU TAKE IT”

SALADO-This cafeteria is undoubtedly the most patronized café in school (at the moment) even by lecturers and outsiders. Located at the SUB of the school, close to the Amphi Theater and the sport center. Salado has one of the best eating environments even tho some jobless people just go there to chill without buying anything and some people also complain that the food is sometimes salty.

MAVIS-This cafeteria is located at the Red Bricks of Science behind JaJa Hostel close to GT Bank. Always patronized by Science students, Moremi girls, Law students, Engineering students and also bankers of the banks in this area of the school. Mavis can also be conducive until the crowd gets too much and the place becomes too hot.

The fire incident at Ascon Oil filling station at Lekki Phase 1 this afternoon has been contained. Contrary to earlier speculations, the main building and the reservoirs are unaffected. The incident emanated from a discharge at the point of offloading product from a tanker, engulfing two tankers and some vehicles parked by the road side.

Photos of the outrageously costly jumbo jet leaked online showing lavish white leather chairs, gold covered trims, king size beds, kitchens and conference rooms and plush gyms, all as a part of the Russian president’s gift to himself.

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ali Olanusi has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and declared his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Olanusi, an indigene of Supare in Akoko South West local government area of the State became the Deputy governor of the State in 2009 under the platform of Labour Party before he defected alongside the state governor, Olusegun Mimiko to the PDP in October, 2014.

The deputy reportedly made the announcement on Thursday morning.

As the APC welcome Alhaji Ali, the PDP are still enjoying the defection of an opposition deputy governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru of Rivers state who defected from the APC to be PDP last week.

Thugs armed with machetes, guns and other weapons besieged the Oshodi area of Lagos State as early as 6am today, March 26.

The attackers were said to be wearing hoods while shooting sporadically and harassing residents.
The violence is also said to have spread into the Costain and Maryland areas of the state though these reports have not been confirmed.
The cause of the violence has not yet been determined but rumours have it that the chaos is being orchestrated by members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC).
