Wildlife experts were shocked to discover the 'fattest snake you will ever see' in tropical Queensland.

According to DailyMail, the scrub python, found near Kuranda in far north Queensland, is more than five metres long and weighs in excess of 50kgs. Two workers at the Rainforestation Nature Park discovered the snake in the middle of the road, after first thinking it was a tree branch. It has now been nicknamed 'Scrubby'.

General manager of Rainforestation Nature Park Chris Grantham told the ABC:

When Dr. Ian Crozier was released from Emory University Hospital in October after a long, brutal fight with Ebola that nearly ended his life, his medical team thought he was cured. But less than two months later, he was back at the hospital with fading sight, intense pain and soaring pressure in his left eye.

Test results were chilling: The inside of Dr. Crozier’s eye was teeming with Ebola.

His doctors were amazed. They had considered the possibility that the virus had invaded his eye, but
they had not really expected to find it.

Months had passed since Dr. Crozier became ill while working in an Ebola treatment ward in Sierra Leone as a volunteer for the World Health Organization. By the time he left Emory, his blood was Ebola-free.

A man was kidnapped at gunpoint in South Africa and raped by three women who collected his semen in a cool box before abandoning their victim - and the method is part of a growing trend.

The 33-year-old man gave the women directions when they pulled up in a black BMW. Suddenly, one of the women armed with a gun got out and forced him into the back of the car at gunpoint.
The trio then drove him 500km away and fondled him in the back of the car but he did not become aroused, so they forced him to drink an 'unknown substance' from a bottle to aid him.

Four policemen have been arrested in Lagos for mounting an illegal checkpoint at the Mile 2 end of the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway and conducting unapproved stop-and-search.

It was gathered that during the exercise, a tanker ran over a businessman, Mr. Henry Dimoji.

48-year-old Dimoji, who hailed from Imo State, and his wife were returning from a wake keep in the FESTAC Town area in a Honda car. Only for them to be asked by the police to stop for a search when the incident occurred.

A west London court has heard a couple held a man against his will from the age of 13 for 24 years before he finally managed to escape from them and inform police.

A Nigerian NHS doctor enslaved a man in his home for 24 years after smuggling him into Britain as a child, a court heard yesterday.

Dr Emmanuel Edet demanded to be called ‘master’ as he beat his victim and subjected him to a ‘life of misery’, it was claimed.

Emmanuel Edet, 60, and his wife Antan Edet, 58, a senior hospital nurse, are accused of stripping Ofonime Sunday Inuk, 39, of his passport and making him work up to 17 hours a day.

Chris Brown assault case dropped

A man who said he was punched by singer Chris Brown during an early morning basketball game in Las Vegas has declined to pursue charges, he called the cops on Tuesday and told them he wanted to drop the case. He did not explain why.

At that point cops closed the case.

LVMPD will no longer pursue charges.
