Mum of suspected bomber who disguised as a woman says he is under spiritual attack

On Friday July 25th, the Nigerian military released a statement saying they'd arrested a man dressed as a woman who is suspected to be connected with the Wednesday 23rd bomb blast targeted at former Head of state, General Buhari.

Well, the suspect's mother Zubeida Yusuf, who lives in Mando, Kaduna has spoken and she says her son, Mansir Yusuf, is no terrorist. She said the military mistook her son for a terrorist because he was found wearing female clothes;

“My son is not a terrorist. What is wrong with him is an evil spiritual attack which is making him to prefer women’s clothing and to act as one who is mentally retarded. Everyone in Mando knows that he only has a spiritual condition that is making him to act strangely.

Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz are expecting their second child, the singer has announced on Instagram.
The musical duo tied the knot July 31, 2010, which makes today their four year wedding anniversary. Keys chose to highlight the occasion while breaking the joyous news:
"Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !!" Keys, 33, captioned her beautiful photo, adding: "And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life! ☺️"
The couple has a son, Egypt, who will turn four in October.
The expecting father posted a similar photo to his Instagram, captioning it: "Love is life & life is love and we're so excited for another GIFT from up above Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah @aliciakeys ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥"

Presidents of Liberia & Sierra Leone cancel US-Africa Leaders summit because of Ebola

President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has closed down all the schools in the West African country in an attempt to address the spread of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).

She also declared tomorrow, Friday, a work-free day to enable health workers in the country to disinfect and chlorinate all public facilities.
Sirleaf, who announced the measures in a nationwide, broadcast late Wednesday, also presented a National Action Plan against Ebola that would try to contain the spread of the disease. Her office said she was not only worried about taking care of those afflicted, but would focus of the goal of preventing new cases.

Another female suicide bomber blew herself up at the administration building of Kano State Polytechnic this afternoon July 30th around 2.45 as students were checking their results in the school.

Kano State Police Command confirmed the blast but didn't state the number of casualties.

Some residents in an exclusive California neighborhood are not exactly throwing a welcome party for Chris Brown. It seems like Breezy's new neighbors aren't particularly fans of his, one person in particular is threatening lethal force if the pop star trespasses onto his property.

According to TMZ, the "Loyal" crooner just moved deep into the San Fernando Valley where he is renting an 8,000 square foot, six bedroom house in Agoura, near the Malibu border. Mallam El Rufai's son Hamza El Rufai DIED this morning in a fatal accident. Hamza was driving the black Lexus car when he ran into a stationery blue colored Volkswagen Sharon car around the Ningi Barrack along A.Y.A - Kubwa road, Abuja around  5.30 am today, Tuesday July 29, 2014.
Two persons were involved in the crash but only Hamza died. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps, his corpse was taken to the national mosque by his parents while the crashed vehicles were deposited at the Maitama Police station. Lagos Hospital Where Ebola Victim Died Shut Down

The Lagos State government has shut down and quarantined First Consultants Hospital in Obalende where a Liberian, Mr Patrick Sawyer with Ebola virus died last week in Lagos.

“We have shut the hospital to enable us to properly quarantine the environment. Some of the hospital staff who were in close contact with the victim have been isolated. The hospital will be shut for a week and all staff monitored to ensure the virus has not spread,” the Lagos State Health Commissioner Jide Idris said.

Mr Idris also said the Nigerian Ambassador to Liberia, Chigozie Obi Nnadozie, three staff of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, and 55 others who had contact with the victim are closely been monitored.

Yesenia Herrera was standing in front of the first family at Soldier Field when she whipped out her cell phone and took a selfie - capturing Mrs Obama and her younger daughter in the background.

Michelle, who was in the city to hold a Democrat fundraiser, and 13-year-old Sasha were also at the concert with Sasha's big sister, Malia, 16.

Herrera, a model from Chicago, then shared the image to Instagram - no doubt to the chagrin of Michelle Obama, who has previously complained about images of her daughters being shared.

A shaft of pain knifed through his facial contours as he recounted the grisly experiences he had in prison for more than 23 years.

Prior to 1989, Calistus Ike had dreamt of becoming a very successful business man.

Little did he know that he was going to spend seven years as an awaiting trial inmate and another 16 years on the death row.

As the first son and bread winner of his family at that time, Ike, had all his dreams quashed after he was sentenced to death following his refusal to pay N200 bribe to the policeman that investigated an allegation against him.

Recorder Philip Cattan is alleged to have fallen asleep during the trial at Manchester Crown Court

 

A child rape trial has collapsed after the judge presiding over the case was caught sleeping while one young alleged victim was giving evidence.

The trial collapsed when lawyers spotted that Recorder Philip Cattan had nodded off while the young girl was being questioned by the defence lawyer via a video link.
The lawyers challenged the judge by raising a point of order, to flag up their concerns that the judge had missed vital evidence while he was asleep.
The jury was asked to leave the courtroom. After confronting Recorder Cattan court officials decided to abandon the trial and dismiss the jury. The case will be relisted and reheard by a different judge, possibly next month. The collapse and retrial is expected to cost the taxpayer £10,000.

A 13-year-old Texas girl, Ariel Tolfree who placed her Samsung Galaxy S4 under her pillow while charging it and fell asleep has explained how she woke up to see it burnt.

Tolfree said later that night, she smelled something burning, but never thought it could be her phone. “I didn’t think much of it, so I went back to sleep and then I woke up again and it was more prominent,” she said.

Tolfree’s dad however believes the phone overheated, causing the battery to swell and ignite a small fire.

Afrocandy Says her Online Begging for Daughter's College Fees was a Stunt

You all remember that sometime in April, US-based Nigerian controversial actress, Afrocandy, went online to beg for funds to send her daughter to college. According to Afrocandy then, she had no money to foot her daughter's college bills because she (Afrocandy) had invested all her money in making her soft porn movie "Destructive Instinct", with the hope she would get a huge turnover before her daughter's time for college.  Unfortunately, she was messed up by the partners she trusted. Movie was released since January, up until April, not even a dime from her distributors.
