Our Ex- President Olusegun Obasanjo Is Back To School

Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, is set to go back to school for a higher degree in Christian Theology, after obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in 2009.

He will formally enrol today as a graduate student at the headquarters of the National Open University of Nigeria in Lagos, where he hopes working towards a doctorate degree, beginning first with a Masters degree.

The former president also confirmed this and proudly said; “I’m going back to school because I have to have something to aspire to in every endeavour of life. I always aspire to something new in my farm. I do that in my international activities. I do it in my writing. I do it in the improvement of my academic work which helps to sharpen my brain and strengthen my faith,” he said. We sincerely wish him all the best.

Man Electrocuted In Plateau While Trying To Steal

An alleged diesel thief has died Monday morning after he was electrocuted by an electric barbed fence in Plateau while trying to steal diesel from a compound.

The suspect, Mr. John Aboy, and two other men had attempted to get into the compound they planned to steal the diesel around 3am before Aboy who led the group was electrocuted.  

On seeing what happened, the two other men took to their heels and left Aboy to his faith. Aboy was later found hanging dead on the electric fence in the morning by passersby and residents of the area.

Police on patrol were said to have arrived the scene and took the hanging corpse away. Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abuh Emmanuel, advised people with criminal tendencies to look for reasonable ways to make a living, saying crime does not pay and this is what ends it.

The 2nd Nigerian Big Brother Africa Hotshots housemate has been revealed.

A 1.93m-tall model with a Higher National Diploma in Maritime Studies, Tayo certainly stands out in a crowd. He lists his favourite foods as Eba an Okra Soup mixed with fish stew, his favourite musicians as 2Face Idibia, Beautiful Nubia and D’Banj.

Tayo says his favourite place in Nigeria is Oyo Town, his place of birth. ‘That’s my home, where I started life. It reminds me of who I am now and how far I’ve come in life,’ he says. He says the best thing about Africa is ‘culture and pride’ and that his favourite place outside of Nigeria is South Africa, which he calls his ‘home away from home’.

Tayo says he’s not willing to change who he is or disgrace his family and friends to impress viewers or his fellow Housemates. If Tayo wins the grand prize, he says he’ll, set up his life and give himself a life of luxury.

The photos, which purport to be Nicki Minaj topless, doesn't show her face, but in one particular pic there's 'liquid' on the breast of the woman who has the exact same tattoo on her arm that Nicki has. Former airport worker, 20 year old Walter Earl Morrison (pictured) is accused of stealing a diamond ring worth about $150,000 and then swapping it for just $20 worth of weed.

According to prosecutors (the case is currently in court), Walter had been working for UPS at the Sky Harbor Airport in Arizona when he allegedly swiped a package and hid it under his shirt while loading cargo onto a plane.

Prosecutors said he thought the parcel contained cash but instead found a diamond ring. Of course he didn't know the value of the ring, so he took it a marijuana dealer and bought himself $20 worth of wee in exchange for the ring. The stolen item was traced back to him and he eventually confessed. He was immediately sacked by UPS and arrested for theft.

Fortunately he was able to tell UPS and police who he sold the Diamond ring to. The ring was recovered and delivered to the intended customer while Walter is facing theft charges.

 The 58-year-old music producer of American Idol fame and his wife have been married 18 years and have two children together - a daughter, Zoe and son, Jordan. Reports say Erika cited irreconcilable differences in the divorce papers, and wants full physical custody and joint legal custody of their 17-year-old Jordan. She also wants spousal support and wants Randy to foot her attorney's fees.

This is Jackson's 2nd marriage. He and ex-wife singer-songwriter Elizabeth Jackson have a daughter named Taylor. Jackson spent 12 seasons judging "American Idol" but announced he was leaving in 2013. He later returned as a musical mentor for the contestants.

Boko Haram kills Pastor, Teacher, 17 others in Borno state

Pastor Eliud Gwamna Mshelizza of the Living Faith Church, a teacher with the Government Girls Secondary School Shaffa alongside 17 others were killed in separate attacks on Wednesday September 24th and Thursday September 25th after Boko Haram members launched an attack on Shaffa and Shindiffu villages of Hawul LGA in Borno State.

The sect men were said to have arrived Shaffa at about 8pm on Wednesday September 24th and after ravaging the village, proceeded to Shindiffu village on Thursday September 25th. They burnt down about 10 churches including E.Y.N No:I, E.Y.N No: II and III in both villages. Many of the sect members were however killed by Nigerian troops who came in from Adamawa and Biu during an ambush as the Boko Haram men were leaving the villages after the attack.

Panic in Liberian villages as two Ebola victims 'rise from the dead'

There's currently panic, fear and confusion in two villages in Nimba County in Liberia after reports that two female Ebola victims have risen from the dead.

According to local reports, 44 year old Dorris Quoi who lived in Hope Village Community and a 67 year old woman identified as Ma Kebeh, died of the Ebola virus and were about to be taken for burial when they resurrected and are now walking among the living.

According to reports in a local newspaper, New Dawn, Ma Kebeh had been indoors for two nights without food and medication before her death, while Dorris had suffered for several weeks before she died alone in her family home. This is the first report of dead Ebola victims resurrecting. Despite some people's reservations about the story being true, it hasn't stopped them from panicking

Amber Rose has filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa because she's convinced he's been a serial cheater for months and making lame excuses that just don't hold water.

TMZ broke the story that Amber filed legal docs on Wednesday and it's a bitter breakup, with each accusing the other of cheating. Sources connected with Amber now tell TMZ that since the beginning of Wiz's tour in July she strongly suspected he was stepping out.

Amber's telling friends - she wanted to join Wiz on the tour but he came up with a panoply of excuses, the most frequent of which she should stay home with their 1-year-old. She also says he tried to show dominance by telling her he's the bread winner and he needed to be left alone to make money and she need to stay home.  BTW ... we understand that doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's what she said.

Nick Cannon: Don’t Blame Me for Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa Split

Well, looks like Nick isn't going to watch the media involve him in Wiz Khalifa split. According to Nick Cannon’s camp, they don’t want his name in the divorce drama between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa.
The “America’s Got Talent” host, who is going through his own split from wife Mariah Carey, was rumored to have had a fling with Rose outside of taking her on as a client in his management firm.
But sources close to Nick tell TMZ that his relationship with Amber is strictly professional. Nick insists nothing happened in the cheating department.
Nick claims he only learned about Amber’s domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he became his manager. That’s when Nick says he found out her marriage was on the rocks and only then did the two share break-up stories, reports TMZ.
