which was aimed at understudying the University system. The event was themed: THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM IN THE 21ST
CENTURY: EXPECTATIONS, MISCONCEPTIONS, CHALLENGES & PROSPECTS.
The event which took place on the 5th of August, 2014 at the Arts Theatre, Faculty of Arts, UNILAG was the first in the series
of lectures to be organized by SOSSA in the nearest future.
The event was graced by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University
of Lagos, Prof. Babajide Alo, the Director
for Quality Assurance, UNILAG, Prof. Okunuga, the Dean of the Social Science Faculty, Prof. Omololu Soyombo and also
in attendance was the Dean of Student
Affairs.
The event packaged with finesse had erudite scholars present
also contributing words of wisdom. Dr.
Mrs Franca Arthur from the Department
of Sociology, Dr. Kayode Esuola from the Department of Political Science, and Comrade Shina Loremikan, a foremost Human Right Activist were on
