The controversy surrounding the movie ‘The Interview’ continues. The North Koreans have criticized President Barrack Obama over the release of the movie which is currently the most popular YouTube and torrent download movie.
On November 22, 2014, Sony Pictures suffered a massive hack which is believed to be as a result of the movie ‘The Interview’ ; a comedy about the assassination of North Korea’s president.
Sony Pictures originally cancelled scheduled premieres for the movie amid threats, after criticism from President Barack Obama, Sony reversed its decision and decided on a limited release on December 24, 2014 .
The North Korea suffered internet problems last weekend and a complete outage of nearly nine hours which they blame the United States for orchestrating.
In a statement by The National Defence Commission (NDC), the country blames USA and Obama for her recent internet outages and also described Mr Obama as “a monkey in a tropical forest “.
The North Korea’s NDC spokesman criticised the US for screening the “dishonest and reactionary movie hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK [North Korea] and agitating terrorism”.
“The United States, with its large physical size and oblivious to the shame of playing hide and seek as children with runny noses would, has begun disrupting the Internet operations of the main media outlets of our republic. It is truly laughable.
Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest. Obama had better thrust himself to cleaning up all the evil doings that the US has committed out of its hostile policy against (North Korea) if he seeks peace on US soil. Then all will be well,” – They said.
