SCARCITY OF PURE WATER LOOMS IN UNILAG

One can never imagine that pure water would one day be scarce in the university of Lagos. Well, scarcity of pure water has been the situation in UNILAG for the past 7days. Students have been forced to sustain on bottled water.
After making some enquiry, we've been made to understand that the reason for this situation is because works have refused to supply unilag water plc with water for it's production.
If this is the situation, does this mean UNILAG water has no source of water on it's own?
Does this mean incase of a fire situation, there won't be water for the fire station?
Am sure something would be done fast, now that we've blogged it *lol*....
