HOW TO GET AN HOSTEL FAST IN THE 2014/2015 HOSTEL ALLOCATION IN UNILAG

Getting accommodation on campus remains the top problem we face in unilag, with the new developments which will definitely decrease the numbers of rooms to be allocated in halls of residence like Shodehinde etc coupled with the fact that we will not be required to purchase scratch card this time around. Every returning student hope of getting allocated remains abysmal (small) .


 Please be informed that hall allocation portal will be opened on Friday 12th December, 2014 by 10.00am for Final Student category. You are hereby advised to login with your Matric Number


Also, you will have to do the following on www.unilaghalls.com:



Click on the update profile link to update your email address and Phone Number as the confirmation Number will be sent to your mail. ( This link will appear at the right time, not on the site for now )
Click on the Allocation Link to check for allocation
Click on the button GET A SPACE NOW to apply for bed space
The system will notify you if your application was successful or not
Print out your allocation slip to make payment at the specified bank
Confirmation and receipt Number will be sent to your mail after payment
Login to Print your final Payment slip with your passport photograph with your Confirmation and receipt Number.
Proceed to your Hall of residence with the final payment slip.


Imagine the long process unlike when you had to buy scratch card. The only helpful trick here is to try and update your profile during the final year allocation day ( if you are lucky, you might succeed ) but you mustn't click on GET A SPACE NOW till your own allocation specified date. Secondly, your email needs to receive mails fast on that day or else you goona be OYO. Input an email you have access to and be sure to have logged into your email before the allocation day. Lastly, it's advisable you apply using a system with fast connection.
